Dmytro Cherkashyn

Dmytro Cherkashyn is the Head of Cybersecurity Research and Development at the Institute for Security and Safety and represents the ISS in the EE-ISAC Incidents Response Task Force. He holds an M.Sc. degree in nuclear energy with specialization in security of nuclear facilities, nuclear materials, radioactive wastes and other radioactive sources. At the Institute, he runs international research activities, development of physical and cybersecurity capacity building programs at an international level, and proactive cybersecurity measures for customers such as penetration tests and security assessments. He's also a passionate cybersecurity practitioner and dedicated lecturer, specializing on the cybersecurity of physical protection and industrial control systems.
